Respect for Ashfield roadshow

Residents across the District are invited to attend Respect for Ashfield’s roadshow this summer.

Four events are being held across Ashfield providing residents with the opportunity to meet the people who are tackling crime and anti-social behaviour in their area. Representatives from Ashfield District Council, the Police, the Fire and Rescue Service and many more, will be available to provide lots of information and advice.

Each event will follow a particular theme; celebration of young people, fire safety, the environment — graffiti, littering and vandalism, or anti-social behaviour to demonstrate what is being done to tackle these issues.

Everyone will have the opportunity to complete a questionnaire and voice their opinion about improvements for their area. All completed questionnaires will be entered into a draw to win an ipod.

A range of fun, free activities and entertainment will also be available for all the family.

The roadshows will run from 10am to 3pm on:

Saturday 14th August — Kirkby Town Centre, Ashfield District Council office’s car park
Friday 20th August — Hucknall Town Centre, Tesco car park
Saturday 28th August — Sutton Town Centre, Portland Square
Saturday 4th September — Selston, Somerfield car park
